About The Satellites

We are a 50’s/60’s Rock and Roll four-piece band, ideal for private and public functions. Performing all styles from the 1950's and 1960’s era.

The Band Consists of :-

Jake Greenhouse (Drums)

Jake is our Drummer and is the son of the legendary Phil Greenhouse (Bo Walton and Red Alert), Jake has been working on the Rock and Roll circuit for a while, it's great to have him onboard.

Steve Bounds (Main Vocals/Rhythm Guitar)

Steve is our very talented vocalist and Rhythm Guitarist;

Steve starting playing guitar and singing at college and auditioned for “Buddy” the west end musical in London when he was 17.

Steve has played in a number of bands over the years and played with duo’s and has done some solo work.
 

In 2023 Steve played a guest spot at the legendary Cavern club in Liverpool.

We recently we asked some musician friends and radio presenters what they thought of Steve’s singing, their comments "Bloody hell mate, this sounds incredible!!!! Great band, and how did you find a singer that can sound like every R’n’R singer from the 50’s”, kinda says it all really. Then this from a well-known band Alan Lovell (Swinging Blue Jeans) “I heard your version of “Dream”, sounds good
 

Stephen Rocke (Bass)

On bass we have Steve Rocke. Steve is an experienced bass player having started playing at the age of fifteen. He's part of the band's rhythm section along with the drums and provides a solid reliable bass line he and Jake are the backline for the Satellites, who could ask for a better foundation to work from?

Steve has played with many bands over the past 50 years covering songs from the 1950's right through to today's hits.
 

Kim Rose (Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals)

Kim is our Lead Guitarist and has been playing for many years, his talent is to recreate the authentic guitar sounds from the 50’s/60’s using vintage equipment. Kim has played with many known artists (Mark Brzeski [Big Country], James Burton [Elvis, Roy Orbison, John Denver], Jet Harris [The Shadows], Jerry Donahue [The Hellecasters].
